Lori Wahl-Rousar and Ryan Dobbins

Lori Wahl-Rousar resides in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. She started competing in WCS, ECS and Two-Step at country events in 1998. After a few years, she changed her focus to West Coast Swing and Hustle. Lori is a now a successful All Star competitor, WCS instructor, judge and a Co-Director for the C.A.S.H Bash dance event in Ohio. Through her playful styling, technique and musicality, she encourages others to apply their own
unique qualities to this dance. She truly loves the social aspect of dancing and sets a goal to make each partner laugh or smile.

Ryan Dobbins resides in Lewis Center, OH. Having fun as a country line dancer, he quickly took note of the couples on the sides of the dance floor and found a new interest. While getting exposure to multiple forms of partner dances, West Coast Swing and Hustle sparked a joy and drive that would not disappear. He is also a successful All Star competitor, instructor and judge. Ryan’s solid background in education has helped him teach many dancers to connect, feel, understand, apply, and most importantly have an enjoyable time on the dance floor.

In 2015 they decided to put their talents together and formed a teaching partnership. They have been friends since the late 1990’s and share the same passion for dance and their communities. They now spend most weekends traveling across the country teaching, competing, and judging at several events and workshop weekends. Together they promote fun, technique, safety, and respect.
