Victor Loveira

Victor Loveira has been a DJ since 1980. He started djing at West Coast Swing events in 1996. Victor’s first national swing event was The Texas Classic (later became America’s Classic), in 1996, which was held in Dallas, TX. From that point on, he has had the good fortune of djing at many of the world’s top swing events, including: The US Open, Budafest, Boogie by the Bay, USA Grand Nationals, Americas’ Classic, Liberty Swing, Swingsation, Swing Diego, Summer Hummer, Tampa Bay Classic, Capital Swing, Mad Jam, Seattle Easter Swing and Phoenix 4th of July. In 2005, Victor was honored with the “Allswing DJ of the Year” award and in 2012 Victor was inducted into the DJ Swing Hall of Fame receiving the “Wetzel Award,” named after Kenny Wetzel. Not only will you hear Victor’s music, but at many events you will hear his voice on the microphone, as he has been the emcee at many major events. Also, he has begun to pass on his DJ knowledge through teaching workshops, as well as offering private lessons and mentoring to new DJs. Victor is also the co-event director of Trilogy Swing and the creator of The Legends Jack and Jill. You may also catch him on the dance floor competing in Jack & Jill’s and Strictly Swings at the All-Star division.
